Oran Park Probus Club would like to invite anyone who is retired or semi-retired to come along to one of our Meetings, have a coffee and chat to some of our members and see what it means to be a Probian.

Probus aims to promote friendship, fellowship and fun among like-minded people. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month. Lunch follows at a pre-arranged venue for those members who wish to attend. There are regular “coffee and chats”, day tours, long tours, craft sessions and movie outings.

Speakers at our Meetings cover a wide range of topics, some serious, some fun. At our last Meeting, we heard about Macular Degeneration which affects central vision and is the leading cause of blindness in Australia. Members were given an information package which included a tool to test for visual changes.

In August our Speaker will display Geraniums and Pelargoniums and talk about their propagation.

Come along and join us on August 6, 9.30 for 10am start. Meetings are held at the NewLife Church, corner of Central Avenue and Marcus Loane Way.
