The local community comes alive this month, with the Ropes Crossing Community Carnival returning.
The popular family event will take place on Saturday 30th April from 2:00pm to 8:30pm at Ropes Crossing Oval. It is brought to you by Ropes Crossing Strikers FC.
There will be market stalls, displays, hot food, rides (including a synthetic ice rink), petting zoo, stage performances from local dance schools, a singer, and a band. The grand finale will be fireworks at 8:30pm, which is sure to be a favourite!
Ride passes can be purchased for the Carnival. Pre-purchase Unlimited Ride Passes will be $30 and can be bought from the ground on Saturday/Sunday or anytime during soccer sessions on weekdays at Ropes Crossing Oval (Guild Place) prior to the event. On the day of the Carnival, Unlimited Ride Passes will be $35. Individual Ride Coupons are also available from $6 per ride. There will be over 12 rides including dodgem cars, giant slide, and the yoyo.
“We are looking forward to bringing the community joy back to Ropes Crossing. The last two years, the event had to be cancelled due to COVID and we have planned a bigger and better event this year” said Anthony Xerri of Ropes Crossing Strikers FC.
The Carnival will be a COVID-Safe event. In case of weather, the postponement date will be Saturday 28th May.
It promises to be great afternoon out for the family, so don’t miss out!
