Warradale Men Shed is a member of the Australian Men’s Shed Association which is the peak body supporting almost 1,000 Men Sheds across Australia.
Being a member of this association enables them to apply for grants that are offered through the Australian Government National Shed Development Program on a regular basis.
During the recent Round 18 of grant applications, Warradale Men Shed was awarded a grant of $2,000 for the purchase of a metalwork guillotine/bender and a wrought iron bender.
This new equipment will be used on various projects they work on at the shed and the aim is to produce items for sale to the public.
If you are interested in joining the Warradale Men Shed or would like to drop in for a coffee and a look around, please feel free. They are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week from 9:00am till 2:00pm at 10 Eighteenth Street in Warragamba. You can contact them by calling Garry Saunders on 0433 396369 or Les Rhodes on 0408 96593.
