Spring is a time for new things and that is especially true for this year’s St Marys Spring Festival.
Sue Fryer, Business Development Manager at St Marys Town Centre, the community organisation that works all year round to bring you the St Marys Spring Festival said “I had just started in my role this time last year, so I didn’t really have the opportunity to put my stamp on last years’ event. However, this year is completely different, and the team and I are trying lots of new things that we think the community will love”.
Sue also said “St Marys has been hosting a very successful Spring Festival for more than 40 years and this year is no exception. The Town Centre is excited to bring some additional attractions this year for families to enjoy including performances from live band ‘3 Way Split’ and other performers, live art mural painting, magician, eat street and free interactive kids’ games. We are also giving you the opportunity to relax with family and friends with seating placed strategically throughout the street, so we would love to see you in St Marys on Saturday 7th September for a full day of fun!”.
“We will have a live art display in Philip Street, Channel 7 will be joining us near Coachman’s Park, a magician popping up around Queen Lane and an eat street that we are sure our visitors will love” Sue added.
Celebrate the beginning of Spring and bring the family down to Queen Street in St Marys where you are bound to find something new for the whole family to enjoy.
This family friendly, free event is on Saturday 7th September from 9:00am till 3:00pm.
