Warragamba’s much-loved Dam Break Café has welcomed new owners to the small business, with locals Steve and Joann Inglis taking over last month.
The Inglis’ took over ownership on Tuesday 18th June from Lorraine and Rob, the previous owners. They have spent many years in the food and hospitality industry, having owned café’s, delis and eateries in and around the Southern Highlands.
From July, Dam Break Café have extended their trading hours to 7 days a week! They will be opened 7:30am to 4:00pm from Monday to Sunday. These hours will run through to Winter (July and August).
Steve and Joann will be keeping many of the favourite dishes on the menu. They also hope to introduce some of their own signature dishes that they have made over the years.
They will continue to use Blue Mountain Roaster Coffee, the blend we have all grown to love and won’t be changing.
Our favourite local barista and former owner Lorraine will still be working at the café, ready to make your cappuccino, latte or flat white just how you like it, along with the existing staff.
“We are looking forward to working in and becoming a part of the local community. It’s refreshing to know that many of our customers are from around here and that we will be able to meet the locals and become good friends. Customers at our previous businesses have been tourists from out of the area, so this will be a nice change” said Steve Inglis.
The Dam Break Café is located at 31b Fourteenth Street in Warragamba. Their phone number is 4774 2731. You can also find them on Facebook.
