The month of December is here. Do you know what that also means? That’s right, it’s Summer! Days spent outside with the sun blazing down upon us. The never-ending quest to enjoy the great outdoors and stay cool at the same time. I’m sure that you’ll all agree that there’s no better way to stay cool in the Summer than to enjoy an ice-cold gelato or sorbet.
You can now do just that, with new local business, Davo’s Gelato, opening this month in Warragamba. Just in time for Summer.
Davo’s Gelato is a small, family-owned business that specialises in all things yummy when it comes to delicious gelato and sorbet. With many flavours to choose from, it’s sure to be a popular destination for those with a sweet tooth.
Owner Kerrie-Ann Thornton and son David Thornton (who the business is named after) are thrilled to be able to bring an exciting store and experience to the community for the families of Warragamba and Wollondilly Shire. The family have also lived locally for the past 6 years and enjoy calling the area home.
“We have always wanted to open up a small business and of course, we love gelato and sorbet! Warragamba was the perfect location to open our business. The community is great, where the people are friendly and it’s a very peaceful place. With the school just across the road, Warragamba has the potential to be a great shopping destination. There’s nothing better than shopping and supporting local businesses” said Kerrie-Ann.
They look forward to meeting their customers and are sure to leave them with big smiles, “Our goal at Davo’s Gelato is to provide great products and customer service to the local community” added Kerrie-Ann.
We know the team here at the Mulgoa Valley Gazette can’t wait to try their gelato and sorbet!
Davo’s Gelato is located at 35 Fourteenth Street in Warragamba. For more information, visit them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/davosgelato.
